ICCAC Unveils Division I Women’s Soccer All-Region Team for 2025
The ICCAC's Division I Women's Soccer All-Region performers were announced Friday. Iowa Western claimed the top spot in the conference, earning 10 selections on the All-Region list. After a strong season, Indian Hills placed eight on the list.
Honoka Nohara of Iowa Western headlines the All-Region performers after being named ICCAC Division I Women's Soccer Player of the Year. Nohara led the Reivers with 40 points on 12 goals and 10 assists.
Joining their teammates on the All-Region list are forwards Evelyn Soto, Gala Corbacho and Quinci Smith. Soto contributed six goals and four assists. Corbacho finished with 10 goals and seven assists. Smith led the Reivers in assists with 14 and added nine goals.
Reivers recognized from the midfield include Arianna Harrison and Izzy McNeal. Harrison produced eight goals and four assists, while McNeal was a steady presence in the middle of the field, adding two goals and two assists.
On the backline, Hinami Ogushi, Mariana Brito and Riley Washington were All-Region selections. All three were key pieces of the Reivers' defense and contributed offensively as well. Ogushi totaled four goals and two assists, Brito added four goals and one assist, and Washington tallied two goals and six assists.
Rounding out the Reivers' selections is goalkeeper Shu Ishida, who recorded 26 saves across 13 matches with three shutouts and eight wins.
Leading the All-Region list for Indian Hills is forward Arnicka Louis, one of the most prolific scorers in NJCAA Division I this year. Louis scored 20 goals and added 10 assists, finishing with 50 points — tied for sixth-most in the nation.
Joining Louis in the attack are teammates Ella Forsyth and Kiara Levac. Forsyth scored 13 goals and contributed five assists. Levac ranked fifth in the NJCAA with 17 assists and also scored nine goals.
In the midfield, Mia Garza and Nana Tanikawa earned All-Region honors. Garza appeared in every match and recorded four assists and one goal. Tanikawa added five goals and four assists.
Defensively, Meghan Lorjuste and Mayo Kawashima were named to the All-Region team. Lorjuste recorded one goal and four assists, while Kawashima added three goals and 11 assists in a standout season.
Selected at goalkeeper for Indian Hills was Annabelle Combes, who started 16 of the Warriors' 17 matches. Combes posted 47 saves and a .770 save percentage while recording five shutouts and 12 wins.
Rounding out the awards is ICCAC Division I Women's Soccer Coach of the Year Bruce Erickson of Iowa Western. In his first season with the Reivers, he led the program to Region and District titles and a berth in the NJCAA National Tournament as the No. 4 seed.
